Could you please explain what are the current "industry standard" rates for transcription, proofing, and QA'ing? Is there a site where we can check those industry standard rates?
In my opinion, words like "salary best in the industry, India's biggest company, one of the India's top most, preferred employer, salary is not a constraint for the right candidate, global player, positive working atmosphere, highly paying, MNC, etc. etc." does not have any meaning in the current scenario. These are the fancy words every tom, dic, and harry adding in the recruitment ads.
I remember a guy who posted an ad like you and when asked about the industry standard rate he was paying, he said 60 paise for transcription and 40 paise for proofing. He and few others were the reason for putting up this sticky thread: http://mtforum.in/showthread.php?tid=237
